Notice and restrict entry of people to the spill area. Contact the EHS Department/ Supervisor.
Immediately escort them to the emergency shower, rinse for ≥ 15 minutes. If there is any fire or medical attention needed, call 999.
If the spill chemical is volatile and flammable, control ignition sources and ventilate the area. Put on the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) before proceeding to any clean-up activity.
Perform cleaning with chemical absorbent material. Place the saturated absorbent into a proper waste bag. Clean up the chemical residue with mild detergent & water appropriately.
Remove the used Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with caution and wash your hands with soap and water. Report all spills to the respective departments. Replenish your spill kit supplies.
